Private Label Articles - Why Less-Than-Top-Notch is Better
One thing is undeniably certain - the face of the Internet is changing for the better at a fast pace. Gone are the days of "junkified" websites. The lazy owners who used to rely on others to do all the hard work are now scrambling to find content they can use without risking a hefty spanking from the search engines. It's no longer enough to simply have content - any kind of content - on your website. Unique, quality content has now become a requirement, rather than a service. Not only the search engines, but also the general public visiting our websites are asking for quality information - and lots of it, too. A New Kind of Content This new era in cyberspace has given rise to a very specific kind of content called "Private Label Content". This is content where the buyer basically gets all rights to the content and is allowed to claim authorship and even copyright to it. Private Label Content comes in all shapes, sizes and quality. Some are in the form of ebooks, reports or even audio, whereas others are plain stand-alone articles; some are written in good English, and some are almost illegible due to bad grammar. They are often written by writers whose first language isn't English, so we end up with good research being done, but the resulting article needs some polishing. It needs to be modified or even rewritten to satisfy the requirements of maintaining a website - requirements set by both the search engines and the viewers. Unfortunately, the majority of people currently still seem to think that PLR (Private Label Rights) content is worthless because of the bad grammar used in many of them. I believe it's quite the contrary. Granted, there are some that are hopelessly useless, but that's only a very small percentage. Most are written in fair, understandable English and this is what makes it all that much easier to use. Why is Poorly Written Private Label Content Better? What very few people realize is that content with PLR is worth their digital weight in gold, because all the time-consuming research has already been done. What could easily have taken hours, if not a full day's work, is presented to you on a silver platter. All you now need is 10 minutes or so to "make it your own" - and the PLR license allows you to do just that. But, think about this: If something is already written in excellent English, how on earth are you going to modify that in order to create something that is unique to you without bringing down the quality of the content? On the other hand, if you have something that isn't written very well, it's going to be super easy to rewrite it. English is an extremely flexible and colorful language, so it's in fact very easy to rewrite content into a much higher level of English while at the same time making it unique to you. Sadly, this is where many people tend to step right into the ditch. Rather than spending a little time on perfecting the content, they use it exactly as it is - without modifying it or even spiffing up the language a little bit. This is Internet suicide. Not only are they posting duplicate content, they're also losing all the credibility they could otherwise have had. Private Label Content is poised to become a leader in the new cyberspace era. People who are able to understand and make full use of this type of content will end up being the winners, simply because they will have the power to produce large quantities of quality content in a fraction of the time and funds otherwise required. |
